Diagrams and charts

When a picture explains it better, it draws one.

Flowcharts, sequence and architecture diagrams, and line, bar, area and pie charts, drawn right in the conversation from your own data. Each one can be copied or downloaded.

Remote connectivity

Your assistant in your pocket, on your own private network.

Remote access runs through Tailscale, a private network between your own devices. Install it on the host computer and your phone, sign in to both, and turn on Remote access in Settings. Only your devices can reach SYLVIE; nothing passes through anyone's servers, ours included.

Add it to your home screen and it opens like any other app.
Chat, voice and approvals work as they do on the desktop.
A notification reaches you when a job finishes or something needs your answer.

Any model

Built for local models. At home with the largest.

SYLVIE includes no model and locks you to none. Run a free model on your own machine through Ollama, or add a key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or OpenRouter when a task calls for more. Every model is tested before use, and you can switch in Settings at any time. The provider bills you for what you use; we never meter it.

Your data stays home

One computer you own. Nothing in between.

Everything lives on the host computer: chats, memory, files and jobs. No account with us, no analytics, and SYLVIE never contacts our website on its own.
Keys and passwords are encrypted on the host computer and never shown again once saved.
It talks only to what you connect: your model provider and the accounts you add, to do what you ask. With a local model, nothing leaves the machine.
One backup file holds the lot, and restores on Windows, macOS or Linux.

Common questions

Which models can it use?

Any model Ollama can run on your computer, or a cloud model from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or OpenRouter with your own API key. You can change models in Settings at any time; your chats, memory and jobs are kept.

Is there a cost beyond the licence?

Only if you choose a cloud model: the provider bills you for what you use, typically a few dollars a month for personal use. A local model through Ollama costs nothing to run.

Can it act without asking me?

Only where you've allowed it. Every capability is Off, Ask or Allow. Changing files, running commands and sending email start at Ask, and each approval card offers Approve, Reject or Always allow. Every change in the workspace can be reviewed and reverted.

Where is my data kept?

On the computer SYLVIE is installed on, and nowhere else. There is no account with us, no analytics, and we never receive your conversations. See the privacy policy.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes, with a local model: chat, voice, jobs and your files all work offline. Web search, email and cloud models need a connection.

What does it need to run?

Windows 10 or 11, macOS 14 or newer on Apple silicon, or a recent 64-bit Linux desktop, with 16 GB of memory or more recommended and about 5 GB of free disk.

How are updates delivered?

Each update is a new installer. Run it over your current install and everything is kept. SYLVIE never checks for updates on its own.

Can I rename it?

Yes. Its name, personality and voice are yours to set in Settings, and the wake word follows the name.
